Traffic flow and road conditions
Most roads are wet and slippery.
Traffic is dense in cities and on their bypass roads.
During the day difficulties can occur in roadwork areas - on the DC8 Adriatic road at Pasjak, at the Šibenik bridge, between Stobreč and Podstrana, on the Split access roads as well as on the DC1 Solin-Klis highway.
Due to roadwork on the A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway at the Orehovica junction traffic is suspended from direction Zagreb towards Trsat (Rijeka centar), detour: Čavle junction-ŽC5205-DC3-Rijeka-Rijeka istok junction (A7)-DC404-Rijeka.
Drivers are invited to adjust the driving speed and the way of driving to road conditions and to keep the safety distance!
Traffic restrictions:
A1 Zagreb-Ploče-Karamatići motorway:- 9 May 2am-5am traffic is closed between the Otočac and Perušić junctions in both directions, detour: DC50/DC52 state roads;
- 15 May 8am-6pm traffic is suspended between the Ploče junction and the Karamatići paytoll in both directions, detour: Vrgorac junction (A1)-ŽC6208-DC62-ŽC6276-Ploče (DC8);
- 6-8 May at the Sveti Rok tunnel one lane is free only in each direction;
- until 20 May 10pm-6am traffic is occasionally suspended for about 15 minutes at the exit of Zadar istok junction;
- until 31 May at the Jastrebarsko junction in direction Dubrovnik traffic is flowing in reduced lanes;
- until 14 June at the Vršci viaduct at 148th km between the Perušić and Otočac junctions (including the Plasina tunnel) one lane is free only in each direction;
- credit card payment and ENC payment at the Podi junction between Šibenik and Vrpolje junctions;
- until 25 May 6th-3rd km, 1st-2nd km one lane is free only in each direction;
- one lane is free only between the Sveti Križ Začretje and Zabok junctions 29th-34th km until 15 June;
- at 42nd km of the section Zabok-Zaprešić one lane is free only in direction Zagreb until 7 June;
A3 Bregana-Lipovac motorway:
- at the Zagreb zapad junction on the A3 Zagreb bypass road one lane is free only in both directions;
- until 24 May at the Zagreb (Plitvice) rest area 16th-17th km traffic is flowing in reduced lanes in both directions (driving speed limit of 80 km/h);
- until 27 May between the Lužani and Slavonski Brod zapad junctions 193rd-196th km one lane is free only in direction Bregana (driving speed limit of 80 km/h);
- until 7 June between the Nova Gradiška and Lužani junctions 167th-173rd km one lane is free only in both directions;
- until 16 May 72nd-68th km between the Komin and Sveta Helena junctions one lane is free in each direction;
- until 17 May between the Sesvete and Zagreb istok junctions traffic is flowing in reduced lanes in both directions (traffic jams are expected);
- until 20 May between the Novi Marof and Varaždinske Toplice junctions 41st-39th km, until 14 June 38th-36th km (including Hrastovec and Vrtlinovec tunnels) traffic is proceeding in one lane only in each direction (driving speed limit of 60 km/h);
A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway:
- 8 May 10pm-4am traffic is suspended between the Bosiljevo 2 and Vrbovsko junctions in both directions, detour: DC204 (Bosiljevo-Bosanci)-DC3 (Bosanci-Stubica)-DC42 (Stubica-Vrbovsko) state roads;
- at the Orehovica junction traffic is suspended from direction Zagreb towards Trsat (Rijeka centar) until 7 June, detour: Čavle junction-ŽC5205-DC3-Rijeka-Rijeka istok junction (A7)-DC404-Rijeka;
- until 17 June between the Vrbovsko and Ravna Gora junctions 29th-26th km (including the Javorova Kosa and Pod Vugleš tunnels) one lane is free only in each direction (driving speed limit of 60 km/h);
A7 Rupa-Rijeka-Žuta Lokva motorway:
- until 14 June at the Orehovica junction one lane is free only from direction Krk towards Zagreb and Rupa, from direction Rupa towards Zagreb, from direction Zagreb towards Krk;
A8/A9 motorway in Istria:
- due to roadwork at the Učka tunnel there is a traffic ban on vehicles wider than 3 m between Veprinac junction and Učka tunnel in both directions;
- due to roadwork at the Lovrinčići viaduct there is a traffic ban on vehicles wider than 3 m from Lupoglav towards Cerovlje;
- between the Lupoglav and Veprinac junctions temporary traffic signalization is in operation due to roadwork;
- tonight (7 May) 10pm-6am at Učka tunnel one lane is alternatly free only;
- until 26 May at the Mravince tunnel one lane is free only;
- one lane is free only at Pasjak until 15 June, at Senj until 7 May, at Vodice until 1 June, at the Šibenik bridge until 15 May, at Makarska until 31 May, at Dugi Rat until 15 May, at Lozica until 15 June;
- until 15 June traffic is suspended between Ponte Porton and Livade/Motovun intersection;
- until 10 July at Skradin one lane is free only;
- at Bogomolja traffic is proceeding in one lane only;
- 7 May 11.30pm-4.30am traffic is suspended at the Selca-Dubovica tunnel, detour: ŽC5252 Hvar-Brusje-Stari Grad regional road.
