A THIRD INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP PAX-net
Organized by APC (a pan-European association of international bus terminals) and Zagreb Bus Terminal as the host, a third international workshop PAX-net (an international network for the development of bus transport in the Danube region with emphasis on multimodality and suitability passengers) was held.
The workshop was held in the Central Hotel in Zagreb on 16.09.2014. with the aim of interconnection and cooperation in the development of bus terminals in the region. In the first half of the year, two workshops were held in Ljubljana and Belgrade and Zagreb workshop was a continuation of this project, where the bus station in Zagreb had the opportunity to present its history and achievements in modernizing the sales process and the introduction of innovative services to customers.
Workshop participants showed great interest during the presentation and the questions and examples from their experiences greatly contributed to the success of the workshop and confirmed that these projects achieve their goal, and that is better service to passengers with the optimal cost of running Bus Terminal.
APC (a pan-European association of international bus terminal) was founded by twelve European international terminals in 2003 in Berlin. The objectives of the association are to raise public awareness of the increasing use of bus transportation, promoting tourism, stimulating economic development, establishment of a central information system for passenger transport, creating a homogeneous system and harmonization of standards of service at the bus stations.

Tickets from Zagreb to Plitvice lakes, as well from Plitvice lakes to destinations on the coast can now be bought at Zagreb Bus Terminal, all in accordance with currently valid timetable.
Record sales of bus tickets

On 17th of April 2014, Zagreb Bus Terminal has made a 10 year record sales of bus tickets. Due to upcoming Easter holiday, a total of 7.737 tickets were sold within 24 hours.
Since the introduction of BRAVO computer system for ticket management in 2003, Sales department of Zagreb Bus Terminal is experiencing continuous increase of ticket sales, which, since recently, can also be bought online.
NEW - Buy tickets via the Internet
Customers of Zagreb Bus Terminal can now buy bus tickets via Terminal’s web site.
The new service was introduced with the intention to modernize the sales process, and enable customers to purchase tickets from the comfort of their home.
With the ability to purchase tickets using Maestro, MasterCard and VISA cards, customers can also select desired seat in the bus during the purchase.
Purchased tickets have to be picked up at the ticket office of Zagreb Bus Terminal prior to departure, without waiting.
NEW BUS LINE: ZAGREB - PADOVA
Every day, leaving Zagreb at 4:55 towards Padova, you can experience high-luxury tourist buses operated by Črnje Tours.

Photograph Exhibition by Ivo Pervan at Zagreb Bus Terminal
Since the beginning of September, in the passenger waiting area of Zagreb Bus Terminal, photo exhibition "Zagreb through the lens of photographer Ivo Pervan” can be seen. Displayed photographs show motive of Zagreb and majority of them were taken in 1990’s.
According Kresimir Rašana, director of the Tourist Information Center, this is only a part of a collection of a couple of hundred Pervan's photographs that are owned by Zagreb Tourist Board, who has organized this valuable exhibition.
NEW BUS LINE: ZADAR - ZAGREB - LJUBLJANA
Puntamika-line ltd. started operating new regular international bus line Zadar-Zagreb-Ljubljana.
Departure from Zadar will be every day at 16:25, arrival to Zagreb at 20:30 while arrival to Ljubljana is expected at 23:00
On a return journey, buses will leave Ljubljana every day at 9:00, arrive to Zagreb at 12:00 and arrive to Zadar at 15:30.
